When you overthink, it can actually lead to negative thinking. Negative thinking can shift your energy from light to heavy. Sometimes the best thing we can do to free ourselves from the “problem” is to focus on something else.
When you relax into thinking about something more uplifting and take your mind off the “problem,” the solution usually presents. Overthinking on the other hand can keep you from moving forward because you have created “fear” over making the wrong choice. You become so tied up in the problem you are blinded to the solution. When I find myself overthinking, I like to workout, paint, or go for a run. Give your brain some time off. Find what works for you and trust that clarity is just around the corner.
